| | Trusting in the Lord's Strength and Salvation | |
"Blessed be the Lord! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever." —Psalm 28:6-9
As we journey through the season of Lent, Psalm 28:6-9 reminds us of God’s unwavering faithfulness. In this time of repentance, reflection, and renewal, we call upon the Lord for mercy, knowing that He hears our prayers. Lent is a season to trust in the strength of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who bore our burdens and carried our sins to the cross.
Just as David declares in this psalm, our hearts can find peace in God’s promises. He is our refuge and our shepherd, guiding us through the wilderness of sin and leading us toward the joy of Easter morning. As we meditate on Christ’s sacrifice and victory, may we also rejoice in the salvation He has secured for us. This Lenten season, let us lift our voices in prayer and gratitude, trusting in the One who carries us in His arms and blesses us with His unfailing love. God is always there as our shepherd, to hold us, to lead us, to guide us, to be our help in every time of trouble and in every need. He is the saving refuge of those who trust in Jesus Christ and He is always there to give us His strength, His love, and certainly His forgiveness and His salvation. Blessed is the Lord, truly, for His great love for us. Let us turn to Him in prayer and praise, rejoicing in His goodness and in His love.

Meal Train for the
Stoltenow Family
It's a wonderful thing that God is able to use us as His hands and feet as we love one another. As you likely heard, the Stoltenow family had a house fire last week. Thanks be to God, they are ok. But maybe you've been wondering if there are ways you can love on them and help.
If you're looking to provide some support, the link below gives some options. And, maybe you can pray. Open up Psalm 23 and read it, and give thanks that the Lord is our Shepherd, that He not only kept the Stoltenows safe, but that He cares for and protects each of us every day.
