25th Anniversary Newsletter

Happy Valentine's Day

It was great seeing everyone at our 25th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration and the Grand Opening of our new Event Center at the new location. Over 1,000 people came over the weekend to celebrate with us and enjoy our special giveaways, check out our variety of vendors and take the tour of our soon-to-be new home. A good time was had by all!! Be sure to mark your calendar for our ribbon cutting ceremony in early April when we’ll be announcing our official complete relocation coupled with our 19th Annual Tucson Spring Trunk Show.

Speaking of our 19th Annual Tucson Spring Trunk Show, I am in Tucson now checking out all the vendors at the International Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Shows gathering new inventory for the year and learning what’s new in the mineral world. I’ve already found some new natural rubies that have record keepers (some raised) on at least one side and some have them on both sides. We’re having them reviewed and studied to gain insight as to their special qualities and messages. Now is the perfect time to manifest that special stone that’s been calling out to you so I can find and bring it home. So many new treasures and so little time to find them all.

February’s energy is much like its placement in our 12-month growth pattern. Being the second month, its new momentum is just the beginning of patterns we will develop in 2025, so take control of how this year will become a product of your direction. Planetary movements this month provide supporting energy that make it a good time for introspection, purification and endurance. Pretty heavy words, but break it down and take it one step at a time! In reality we’re merely talking about first finding a balance between work and life. Then focus on putting together a forward motion that identifies disillusionment in your life and finally find solutions to those old problems you’ve been carrying around for ever. Endurance just means embracing thoughts of idealization and imagination for a stronger base line to operate from for the rest of the year. See? That wasn’t so hard! Couple this new momentum with the full moon on the 13th, add some affirmations and manifestations and you’ve put into motion a year that will be much easier to manage plus much more relaxed and enjoyable.

The Big Move to 11055 N IH35 - Updates

Build-Out of New Retail Showroom & Rock Depot Continues!

We are happy to offer you TWO LOCATIONS to shop from during this transition. Yes, you can still find our Retail Showroom and Rock Depot at 4103 N IH35, 7 days a week! Or swing by our officially opened Event Center at 11055 N IH35 to shop our Crystal Boutique Friday through Monday!

Going from an open warehouse with no heating/cooling to a multi-department retail business is harder than we thought! After updates from our General Contractor and Project Manager, here is our current (not set in stone) plan for the Big Move:

February - complete construction by end of month & complete final permitting
March - complete multi-phased move one department at a time to best serve customers; set-up new space
April - 25th Anniversary Spring Trunk Show & Showroom Grand Opening; stay tuned for dates!

Featured Fossil: Starfish

Starfish or Sea Stars have been around for over 450 million years but fossil remains are difficult to collect due to how quickly they deteriorate after death. They are part of the class of echinoderms called Asteroidea and digest food outside of their body allowing them to pursue larger prey. There are nearly 1,900 different types of species on the ocean floors all over the world. Most Starfish have five arms radiating outward from a central disc and have been known to grow up to twenty arms with their bodies existing in a variety of colors. Having the ability to regrow arms is one of their many unique traits. They can represent renewal, regeneration and self-sustainability. For some, the Starfish has been a symbol used to represent the Virgin Mary (Stella Maris which means Star of the Sea) who creates safe travel through troubled waters and for others they can be more of a celestial symbol to represent divine love. Whether you are navigating a challenging situation or seeking renewal, maybe the Starfish is just the guide you need.

Amanda received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2007 from Concordia University in Austin, TX. Amanda joined the Nature's Treasures family as a front counter employee in 2010. Since then she has worked her way up and is now the Inventory Manager. She oversees the entire inventory process from our shopping trips to Denver & Tucson to processing and even stocking and restocking new and exciting products within the store. Amanda enjoys swimming and being in nature, but truly dreams about one day opening her own bakery!
