Please be advised that Mercy High School will be closed on Wednesday, October 30, due to an ongoing power outage and essential repairs.
A major underground line needs to be replaced to restore power to the entire school, and we anticipate that this work will be completed by late afternoon, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 30. We will keep you updated on the status of the repairs once it is complete.
Please note that our phone system remains down during this time. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this situation.
Important Notes:
- Students are expected to check their email and Schoology for class updates. Teachers will post any expected assignments/activities/coursework along with deadlines by 9:00am tomorrow.
- Club moderators and coaches will directly communicate the status of any extracurricular activities.
- The Mothers’ Club Meeting is rescheduled to Monday, November 4.
- Link Crew Trunk or Treat is rescheduled for afterschool in the M-Zone on Monday, November 4.
Families are encouraged to continue selling your Maroon & Gold Raffle tickets and prepare to turn-in. Don’t stop there! Students may pick up additional tickets at the Reception Area when the building re-opens. The Raffle ticket turn-in deadline and closing assembly has been extended to Wednesday, November 6. Staff and students should stay tuned for further Raffle information.
