Crews are reconstructing the curb and gutter and resurfacing the northbound lane of Ritchey Street between Lyon Street and St. Andrew Place. Northbound Ritchey is currently closed and expected to reopen to motorists on Friday Jan. 24. Ritchey is open to southbound traffic only.

Business access is open at all times. Motorists must enter and exit driveways from southbound Ritchey.

This work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

Barrier demolition at the Dyer Road overcrossing is complete. Crews are expected to begin daytime pile driving next month as they construct the new bridge foundation. More information will be provided in future communications.

OCTA, in cooperation with Caltrans, is improving 4 miles of SR-55 between I-405 and I-5. The project will improve traffic flow and reduce travel time by adding one regular lane and one carpool lane in each direction. Also, the project will add merge lanes between several interchanges and stripe carpool lanes for continuous access, augmenting safety on the freeway by making merging easier. These enhancements are expected to create a better, smoother driving experience for motorists.
