Using ISCA's Online Forum
Hosted on the platform Gaggle
Benefits
Connecting with your peers from across the country is one of the great benefits of ISCA's Online Forum. You can start an online conversation, pose a question, respond to a query... the sharing of experiences, practices, resources through our Online Forum helps you feel connected to others who hold the same leadership responsibilities. You can support other Chairs by sharing your own experiences, lessons learned and resources that may have been helpful to you; and receive support when needed. Please be as generous as you can with your time in actively participating in our Online Forum.
How to Use the Online Forum
If you are wondering how to pose a query to the Online Forum, type an email to "isca@gaggle.email' Gaggle is the platform that hosts our Online Forum. This will be received by all of our ISCA members. The only topics that are prohibited on Online Forum are tuition and employee compensation.
Customize Your Settings
I understand that some email threads can clutter your inbox on a given day and feel overwhelming. Please do not unsubscribe from the Online Forum because you don't want to receive so many emails. Instead, create customized settings in your Gaggle account to receive a 'Daily Digest' of the conversations that transpired that day. One email, once a day.
By creating a (free) Gaggle account, you can also search archived conversations chronologically or by typing a keyword in the search bar. Go to https://gaggle.email
and select the 'sign up' button. You will type in your email (that you provided for ISCA membership) and create a password. Once your account is created you can go to the archives and customize your account by selecting 'ISCA Online Forum' and then 'member details.' I attempted to create a 3 minute demo video on this which you can view from the link below.
