UPCOMING

THE ALL SAINTS MOMS GROUP IS MEETING NEXT THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, AT 6:30PM IN THE PARISH HALL!

The Moms Group is a sisterhood for women when they need others to walk along side them and feel a sense of connection. We take 2 hours a month to lean on each other, support each other, build each other up. We talk, we laugh, sometimes even cry if that’s what’s needed, but we come together to make sure the women in the community know they are not alone, they have others who are going through or who have been through, all the different beautiful and demanding stages of motherhood from pregnancy through sending them off to college.

If you are a mom in the thick of it, whether you are a new mom expecting your first, or a seasoned mom preparing for an empty nest, or anywhere in between, and would like to join us for fellowship and camaraderie, we would love to have you! We meet the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 in the parish hall.

DOK TRAINING BEGINS FEBRUARY 2ND AT 12PM IN THE CEB!

Interested in becoming a member of the Daughters of the King? Beginning this Sunday, February 2, from 12-3pm, Discernment training will begin in the CEB. They will then meet on February 16th from 12-3pm, Saturday March 1st from 11-3, and Sunday March 2nd from 12-3pm. All women are welcome!

SAVE THE DATE! THE BEN ROSENBLUM CONCERT AND SEAFOOD FEST WILL BE FEBRUARY 22ND!

Join us for some amazing jazz from the Ben Rosenblum Jazz Trio at 5pm in the Sanctuary. Immediately afterwards, walk on over to the Parish Hall and Courtyard for all kinds of seafood and our annual All Saints' auction. Tickets are on sale for the Seafood Fest for $40.00! You can purchase them in the church office Monday through Thursday 9am-3pm and also at church by asking Rick Alexander.

ONGOING

Morning Prayer on Zoom continues! EVERY MONDAY at 8am! ZOOM LINK HERE!

In many times and places, daybreak has been a time of prayer. Jews prayed in their synagogues at sunrise as well as at other times each day. This Jewish pattern of prayer formed the basis of the Christian monastic Daily Office, with its prayers or “hours” at seven times in each day. Thomas Cranmer’s revision of the Daily Office for the first English Prayer Book (1549) reduced the number of services to two - one for morning (Matins) and one for evening (Evensong or vespers). In the Second English Prayer Book (1552), the morning service was given its present name, Morning Prayer.

All Saints would love for you to join us on Monday mornings at 8 AM via Zoom to pray the service of Morning Prayer from the Daily Office. What better way to start your week than a sweet reminder that your days belong to God and that you are never alone? Just open up your computer or smart phone, and click HERE to join. The meeting ID is 864 6807 3272 and the passcode to enter the Zoom meeting is 469781 or just email Julia Suddath HERE for the Zoom invitation. You can also use Forward Movement's Daily Prayer resource HERE to see the liturgy and to read the assigned Bible readings for Morning Prayer.

Come and be nourished with the Word of God and prayer!
