Trolls Jewelry 90th Anniversary Celebrated on January 7th!
Foster Troll started as a watch repairman after he lost his job during The Great Depression on December 29th, 1934. The business expanded to jewelry when his wife Erma joined him. Mr. Troll passed away in 1967 & his daughter Jackie Troll wanted to take over the business. Her mother didn't think that a woman could be successful in business as women were not permitted to have a checking account on their own at the time. Jackie was determined to try. In1982 Mindy Schwingle began working at the store, a family friend, she then took ownership of the store after the passing of Jackie Troll. Pictured below:
