Restorative Sound Bath
Join Savannah, with Ethereal Sound & Wellness, for a sound bath session. Whether you are seeking relief from everyday stress, looking to enhance your meditation practice, or simply craving a moment of tranquility, our Sound Bath event offers a sanctuary for self-care and rejuvenation. During the event, you will have the opportunity to sit or lie on the floor, allowing the sound vibrations to envelop you and guide you into a state of profound relaxation. This event is for those 16 years and older and the cost is $35 for each session.

We are hosting FREE community screenings of Screenager films at Stilly Valley Health Connections. You are invited to attend one or both. After each viewing, there will be time to discuss the important points raised in the film. | |
Addressing Mental Health in the Digital Age
Millions of young people experience high stress, anxiety, and depression. In Screenagers Next Chapter: Addressing Mental Health in the Digital Age, we follow physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston as she discovers solutions for improved adolescent stress, anxiety, and depression in the digital age.
Learn how screen time may be impacting our teen’s mental health, and what we can do to help support youth in the face of their struggles.
After the screening we will have 30 minutes to discuss the important points raised in the film.

Vaping, Drugs, & Alcohol
in the Digital Age
The film, Screenagers Under The Influence: Addressing Vaping, Drugs, and Alcohol in the Digital Age, delves into how the tech revolution has reshaped adolescence and its effects on substance use.
The film debunks myths and depicts strategies parents and schools can use to encourage healthy decision-making, support teen mental health, set limits, and create healthy home environments. The film also includes many ways young people are using their wisdom and strength to help each other and themselves through this complicated terrain around substance use.

Parenting Through School Anxiety and School Avoidance
Many children experience anxiety about attending school and some may refuse to go at all. School absenteeism can create stress for the student and their family members. This class is a helpful starting place for parents and guardians to learn the root causes of school anxiety/avoidance, how to listen to your student, and set boundaries. By the end of the class, you will have tools and tips on how to help your student work through their fears and make positive changes for the current and future school years.

Developing Skills for Stronger Families
Join us for this in-person class focused on empowering families with essential tools and strategies for nurturing healthy relationships. The class will explore the role of communication, identify common barriers, and share key success factors. Examples of practical skills for effective communication and conflict management will be shared.

Developed by Forefront, the five simple and effective LEARN steps empower individuals to help others move in the direction of hope, recovery, and survival.

The person next to a bleeding victim may very well be the one who is most likely to save him or her from bleeding to death. By learning how to STOP THE BLEED®, you will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques. Take the STOP THE BLEED® training course, provided by Skagit Regional Health trained instructors, and become empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens. This training is free and open to anyone in the community.
