COMMITMENT SUNDAY AND CELEBRATION BRUNCH

Sunday, October 27

This Sunday marks the end of our stewardship campaign, and we will have the opportunity to turn in our pledge cards during each service. Please prayerfully consider how you might serve your church in 2025, and plan to bring your completed pledge card with you. If you have not yet received a pledge card, we will have some available Sunday morning. AND don't forget to join us at 10am this Sunday for a celebration brunch catered by Blue Mesa!

CRAFTING WITH COMPANY

October 29, 6pm, Gathering Room

Come join artist Marilyn Brumley and create a fun and easy fall craft, while enjoying the company of fellow crafters! $10 donation appreciated. Sign up at the Connection Center.

TRUNK OR TREAT

Wednesday, October 30, 6-7pm

It's time for our annual Trunk or Treat! Bring your children dressed in their costumes, and let them walk through the parking lot collecting candy. It's a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween!

We also need families to decorate trunks and hand out candy, and we are accepting donations of candy. Please email Teresa to help.

THIRD GRADE BIBLE RETREAT

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 9-11am

Each fall, we continue the Methodist tradition of presenting all of our 3rd grade students with a Bible of their very own. As their faith family, we are excited to provide this age-appropriate Bible, and our prayer is that this gift will help them grow deeper in their relationship with God. All 3rd graders are encouraged to attend the Bible retreat on Saturday, November 9th from 9-11am in the MAC, and their Bibles will be presented Sunday, November 10th at 10am.



Sign up is necessary so we can have their name in their Bible. Email Teresa Chisum with your 3rd grader's given name.

JAVA & JESUS

Thursdays, 9:00-11:00am, Gathering Room

Ladies, be a part of Java & Jesus! Java & Jesus is a group for busy moms that focuses on becoming the women God created us to be. Our current study is a 5-week study by Trillia Newbell called Fear and Faith: Finding the Peace Your Heart Craves. Invite a friend and join us! No reading required; nursery provided. MEN'S DEVOTIONAL BREAKFAST

Mondays, 7:30am, MAC Center



Men, start your week with a brief devotional, led by David Stubbs. Burritos and coffee will be served. This is an opportunity to meet new people and decompress. The goal is for those not retired, to get back on the road by 8:15, at the latest. A donation of $5 is asked to cover the cost.

If you would like to help feed our neighbors, we are currently short of the following items:

Squeeze bottles of jelly

Canned tuna

Cornbread mix

Rice (1 lb bags or boxes)

Canned pasta sauce

Mac and cheese (7 oz boxes)

We appreciate your faithful support of this ministry! Please no glass jars, bottles, or other breakable containers, and we cannot accept items past their expiration dates. Donations may be placed in the marked bin in the Narthex. Thank you!

SUPPORT GROUPS FOR AREAS OF LIFE

Our groups are open to adults in our community who are experiencing daily challenges.

• Alzheimer's Support Group & Kaleidoscope - meets the second Thursday of each month at 1:00pm.
• Cancer Support Group - meets the second Tuesday of each month
• Caring Hearts/Stephen Ministers - offer compassionate and confidential prayer, support, and encouragement
