Dear Ray-Pec Families,

I’m excited to share that the Raymore-Peculiar School District is one of only 19 districts in Missouri participating in the first group of the Success-Ready Students Network (SRSN). The SRSN is a statewide initiative that prepares students for success beyond graduation.

This work centers on creating more personalized and meaningful learning experiences for students. These experiences help ensure they graduate not only with a diploma but also with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in college, career, and life.

Our Board of Education and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) fully support our involvement in this crucial work. They recognize the potential to positively impact teaching and learning across the district. With their leadership and encouragement, we are proud to help shape a new direction for public education in Missouri.

As one of a few districts at this level of engagement, Ray-Pec is helping to develop innovative assessment practices that emphasize continuous growth and real-world readiness, moving beyond traditional end-of-year testing.

Please visit our Ray-Pec SRSN webpage to learn more about our involvement in the Success-Ready Students Network.

You can also watch this short video to see what this work means for our students.

We are proud to be at the forefront of this initiative, and I look forward to sharing more with you as it grows. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our students and schools.
