The World Language Department is excited to announce World Languages Week, taking place from March 4–7! This special event celebrates the diverse languages and cultures in our community and encourages the study of languages as a bridge to connect with others.
In today’s pluralistic and interconnected world, developing intercultural competencies and fostering meaningful connections are essential qualities for the leaders of tomorrow. As part of this celebration, we invite you to share your language, traditions, and stories with us.
On Wednesday, March 5, from 9:25 to 10:00 a.m., we will host cultural storytelling stations and activities for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
If you would like to host a station and share stories, books in your language, or cultural artifacts with us, please email us by Wednesday, February 26, so we can connect. Your contributions will enrich our event and inspire our students to embrace the beauty and power of becoming global citizens!
