COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SIGN UP

This month's youth spotlight is on Oak Ridge Senior Francesca Paradis. If you've been following Hands4Hope for a while, you've likely seen photos of Chessa engaging in lots of different ways, from leading volunteers at School Supply Drive Distribution Day to participating in Sister Nora's Place dinners. "Chessa has been an integral member of the Winter Boutique Committee for the last few years and is a hard worker with a passion for helping others in need," said Yoko Kono, Hands4Hope Community Engagement Manager. Read on to learn more about Chessa's involvement in many areas of Hands4Hope.

MEET FRANCESCA

Don't miss Nashville Songwriters Live Benefit Concert at Folsom's Harris Center for the Arts on December 17, 2024! The audience raved last year about the memorable and intimate opportunity to listen to songwriters Jeffery Steele, Mark Mackay, and CJ Solar play their music and tell the stories behind their hit songs.

Mark Mackay told us, "Last year we had the best time performing together and sharing our stories, jamming and laughing all night. We can't wait to do it again. Even better, we’ll be supporting the great work of Hands4Hope."

GET TICKETS NOW FOR BEST SEATS!

Reminder: we sent an email on Friday about our current buy-one-get-one-free offer for Nashville Songwriters Live tickets. The "Black Friday BOGO" offer is only valid from Noon, Friday, November 29, through tonight, Sunday, December 1 at midnight! Use code NASHBOGO. Valid on all seats except premium and zone 1.

Kudos to the Community Engagement Youth Ambassadors for partnering with schools, businesses, and community organizations to collect warm clothing for this year's Warm and Fuzzy Drive. The donations are in, and they were passed to the 15-member Hands4Hope Winter Boutique Committee, who have been working since October to plan and prepare for the distribution events to take place in the first two weekends of December.

Volunteers are needed for these distribution events, where those in need will come to the Winter Boutique facility in El Dorado Hills Town Center to select the clothing and blankets they need for the season. Youth in 7th grade and up, as well as adults, are needed for many shifts on December 6, 7, 8, 13, and 14; as well as our clean up day on December 15.

VOLUNTEER FOR WINTER BOUTIQUE

Carriage Rides at El Dorado Hills Town Center are back! Enjoy the beautifully decorated twinkling Town Center atmosphere while you listen to the gentle clip clop of the horse drawn carriage. It's a festive way to celebrate the season while benefiting Hands4Hope!

This is a fundraiser for the Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference Youth Board to benefit the Hands4Hope Education Program. Hands4Hope Youth will be running 15-minute rides on December 14, 21, and 22 from 4 to 8 pm.

NEW THIS YEAR: Book your carriage ride ahead of time online! Act fast, spots may sell out! Rides will also be able to be booked in person, if available.
