THE ATHEIST’S HOLIDAY

God cherishes our praise and thanksgiving. Just as it is pleasing to you and me, so is it pleasing to God. However, those who lack faith cannot be pleasing to God.

For example, today is commonly called April Fool’s Day. It is a day for harmless pranks. However, I could also refer to it as the Atheist’s Holiday. Why is that?

Psalm 53:1 says, “The fool hath said in his heart, ‘there is no god.’” Therefore, April 1 is the atheist’s holiday. However, since I am a believer of God, I do not celebrate the fool’s day. April 1st is just another day in which I can declare the works of the Lord.

Psalm 150:6 says, “Let every thing that has breath praise the LORD.” [NKJV] Every tree, herb, blade of grass, and even thorns and thistles have breath, and they all praise the LORD of their creation.

The fool cannot praise God. The fool will perish without God. Let us daily and continually praise and honor our Maker.

THE BURDEN BEARER

There will be many times in your Christian walk that you become unable to take one step forward. You have carried the burden of others, and they are weighing you down. They have become so heavy that you feel you cannot take another step.

Jesus never asked you to carry any burden by yourself. In fact, it is the opposite. In Matthew 11:28-30 He gives us the answer. It says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

When you yoke with the Lord, he carries the load when you cannot. He helps you rest, and lets you know that He is now carrying the load and taking care of every burden.

So, give that burden to the Lord once and for all. Lay it at his feet and do not pick it up. He is stronger than you and will carry you and the burden. There will come a time when you are strong enough to carry a load again, but until then, let God be the burden bearer.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

To avoid being turned over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, we must walk in holiness. There is no room in a Christian's life for sin. IF we do sin, we must repent immediately and choose to never do it again. God is shaking all that can be shaken, and He has shown me that many are living in an unrepentant state. This is a dangerous place to be because it can cause Satan to have a legal right to destroy you. Don't let that happen. Keep your heart right with God!

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! WHO said to wait? I am doing a new thing. I am not waiting! My time is appointed and I am moving forward. My plans and purposes are real. They mock Me and My anger burns deep. I have waited and waited and waited but nothing has changed. My people are asleep and NOT listening. Time is disappearing and it will be no more. So listen now and obey My voice. I will not be mocked! My love for My people is real; but it has been My people who have believed a lie! Wake Up!!! Do you not see the time that is before you? It is now time to get real and believe My Words. For I am still a God of mercy and love.

Some sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound by affliction and iron, because they rebelled against the words of God and condemned the counsel of the Most High.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Have you ever found yourself growing weary while waiting to walk into your own promise of God? Well if so, just know that you are in with some great company. So stop, take yourself a much needed peace break and think about the Biblical account of the notorious Abraham and Sarah. If you recall the story of how it had been nearly 25 years since God promised Abraham that he’d be the father of many nations in Genesis 12:1-3. However, it seemed things stayed much the same; For his wife Sarah was still barren…And the crib as well as their hearts were still empty. Now not only was there no baby; But there was not even a glimmer of hope that Sarah would ever give birth to their promised child. Oh, I’m sure most of us can somewhat relate to how Abraham and Sarah were no doubt agonizing over this delayed promise of God; For they knew in the natural they were totally unable to have a baby at their age. In fact, The Bible tells us how they were so desperately trying to “help God out” even though we know most of us would have reacted much the same way ourselves…And we all know it could prove to be a totally disastrous situation. Oh, but while you are there in your very own impossible looking situation IF you’ll just keep on believing; God will do for you what you’ve been praying and believing for…And yes, even when His timing doesn’t always line with what you had really hoped for. So just stop second guessing God’s plan and purpose for His promise to you; For it’s time that you sit tight, keep the faith and patiently wait. Yes, just wait with hope in your heart; And expect to see God’s supernatural ability do all things well in you and for you…BUT it must be In God’s Timing

There absolutely has to be a time of breaking and being broken before God, knowing you are totally dependent on Him for Salvation, through the Blood of Jesus Christ. If you have never felt broken before God, have you really been repentant unto salvation? I remember feeling the brokenness, as I gave my all to Jesus, knowing I needed Him to guide me and help me the rest of my life. At that point, you are ready to not hold anything back, from Him. You have tried that and know it doesn't work, without giving Him your all. You are sick of sin and the consequences of your decisions or choices.

We are servants of the Lord. Be like Jesus,

Serve, serve others. Jesus washed feet; Jesus,

Loved. Jesus is love, can you feel his Spirit?

This Holy Spirit deep inside you, this Spirit of God,

Is your guide and stay. This Spirit helps you walk

The Path of right. It guides your thoughts,

And pulls you away from Evil. Evil is all around;

The Holy Spirit is your saving Grace. Come to

Christ and feel his presence in you as you walk,

Talk, sleep, and pray. He is there!
