Dear Northwest Ministry Network,

I am praying for God’s blessing on you, your family and your ministry.

Thank you for praying for the election process regarding the NWMN Secretary-Treasurer position. I am happy to report that we had our first Search Team meeting, following the ten-day period during which we received nominations. In all, 18 persons were nominated out of 67 total nominations submitted. The persons nominated represented a variety of demographics within our Network. Thank you for sending in your nominations.

During our February 4 meeting, the Search Team prayed together and reviewed the nominees list. The list of nominees contained three Executive Presbyters who were asked if they would allow their names to stand for consideration. All Executive Presbyters who were nominated removed their names from consideration.

The Search Team also developed a candidate questionnaire and ministry prospectus. We then set dates for future Search Team meetings and the interview process. As our bylaws require, you will be notified at least ten days before Network Conference regarding the outcome of deliberations by the Search Team and Network Presbytery.  If you have not yet registered for our Network Conference scheduled April 28-30, in Coeur d’ Alene, ID, I encourage you to do so today by clicking here.

Knowing you are praying for Godly wisdom during this process is very encouraging. Thank you again for praying with us as we do the assigned work. I am reminded that Jesus spent the night praying before He selected His first disciples. I am confident the Holy Spirit will guide us to the right decision.
