Congratulations to Brian Sauers, ARP Materials Employee of the Month!


Over the past few months, Brian has been integral to the success of the organization by working closely with our sales team, management team, customers and suppliers! Brian has done a great job of bringing everyone together to focus on sustainable growth across several product lines.


He enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is easily able to navigate the daily challenges that arise. I also know the sales team appreciates his support and guidance as we continue to grow our core products along with our initiatives that are in Business Development!



Brian has some extensive travel coming up towards the end of the year which will continue to solidify our relationship with our core vendors so we appreciate the time and dedication to helping the organization grow as a whole! Keep up the great work and looking forward to a strong finish for 2024!


Forecasts, Forecasts, Forecasts

By now I am sure you have been asked about your company’s forecast for 2025 for the material you buy from ARP. In fact, you have probably been asked MULTIPLE times! But why is your forecast so important for us?


First, we need to provide a forecast to our suppliers. Our partners need to plan production schedules, labor, transportation, etc. Having a forecast for what grades of material we will be buying each month strengthens our relationships with our partners, as well as insures we will have material when you need it!


Second, your forecast helps our purchasing department make decisions on what material to bring into our warehouses. ARP can have adequate inventory levels and prevent under- or over-stocking material.


Thank you for your forecast, but where are your orders?


At the end of the day, your forecast is important in our decisions. But forecasts can only be used as guidelines. We need your purchase order. Having orders in our ERP system lets us know what the actual demand is and when material is needed. This in tandem with your forecast assists purchasing on when to buy material and which warehouse to have it sent to.
