FORMATION LEADERS NEEDED

It's no secret that Emmanuel has an amazing group of children and youth among our members. We are looking for 2-3 more adults who can help lead these young people in their faith formation. Commitment is 2 times a month for about one hour. If you have any inkling that you might be interested, please contact Katie to talk more.

MOVIE NIGHT!

BLESSINGS BAKERY VBS

Join us for Vacation Bible School! We will have three days full of fun - baking, praying, reading, playing, and more! Register early! August 11-13 from 9:00 until 11:30. Ideal for kids in preschool through middle elementary. Older kids are encouraged to become Junior Shepherds. More information and registration is here!

CONFIRMATION

Are you or your child interested in being confirmed into the Episcopal Church? Reverend Valori is hosting another round of our "Episcopal 101" course. Episcopal 101 is designed to prepare youth or adults for confirmation. Typically at Emmanuel, we ask kids in 8th grade or older to prepare for confirmation. Episcopal 101 will meet each Wednesday at 5:00 pm for four weeks. Please email Katie to register for the class. Also, ANYONE is welcome to attend Episcopal 101; you do not need to be a confirmand.

SUMMER CAMP

Registration for Camp Firebird (formerly Camp Phoenix) is now open! Camp will be located at Camp MoVal from July 27 through August 1 and accepts campers in 2nd - 12th grades. This is a great experience for our kids! Older kids can apply to be a camp counselor. Use this link for camper AND counselor registrations.

FAITH FORMATION REMINDERS

There are lots of ways Emmanuel kids can explore their faith. During the 9:30 service, young kids can attend Children's Chapel.

After the 9:30 service, kids are invited to formation. Formation on the 1st and 3rd Sundays is divided by age. Formation on the 2nd and 4th Sundays is for all ages together.
