Translating to 'The Green Valley,' La Combe Verte pays homage to the lush landscapes of the Willamette Valley. This Pinot Noir embodies strength and grace thanks to fruit sourcing from the crème de la crème of vineyards in the region. Founded in 2008 by Erica Landon and Ken Pahlow - Walter Scott specializes in expressive, limited Pinot Noirs.
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir that is sourced from four vineyards: Distraction, Sojeau, Temperance Hill, and Witness Tree in the Eola-Amity Hills. Ambient yeast fermented and aged 10 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which were new.
Tasting notes: A gorgeous glistening medium ruby core with a light raspberry rim in the glass, the 2022 La Combe Verte Pinot Noir captivates with aromas of black raspberries, licorice root, dried lavender, black tea, and pink peppercorn. The palate offers bright, spicy red fruit, tea-textured tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, pure finish that delights!
Experience the essence of Oregon's terroir with La Combe Verte from Walter Scott! It boasts a symphony of bursting red fruit flavors and the earthy undertones of a forest floor, all balanced with vivacious acidity and smooth tannins, making it an exquisite complement to your table.

ITALY'S ANSWER TO CHAMPAGNE - AN ELEGANT, FRESH AND LIVELY SPARKLING!
This robust Franciacorta from Antica Fratta, famed producer from Lombardy dating back to the 1600s, has a subdued delicate fragrance, an expressive palate and a lively perlage (Italian for bubbles) that is accompanied by a vibrant acidity.
Varietal: 90% Chardonnay & 10% Pinot Noir from calcareous/clay soils found to the south of Lake Iseo in the heart of Franciacorta, Lombardy. Traditional Champagne method with second fermentation happening in the bottle. Aged 24 months in bottle on lees. Dosage 5 g/l.
Taste: A balanced, biscuity gem of a Franciacorta with aromas of dried apples, lemons, pastries and toasted almonds. Medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and sleek bubbles. Nuances of burnt sugar and brown spice linger, even as the Cuvée Real maintains a marvelous freshness, and finish.
Savor Italian bubbles from the masterful vignaiolos of Antica Fratta that blossom in the glass and deliver much pleasure on every sip. Perfectly balanced, and exceptional at this price point... The most likely candidate to be enjoyed prior to Thanksgiving - buy a few!

SIMULTANEOUSLY FRESH & DEEP - ALSACE'S BEST NEW ORANGE WINE!
After training in Burgundy, Arthur Ostertag returned home to Alsace to pioneer new vinification techniques and a hyper focus on terroir. This playful blend enjoys some skin-contact and enjoys an amber hue in the glass with great aromatics, and delicious stone fruit on the palate.
Varietal: 90% Gewürztraminer & 10% Sylvaner from Alsatian Grand Cru vineyards in the foothills of the Vosges mountains. Biodynamically farmed since 1997.
Taste: Balanced profile that shines thanks to the addition of Sylvaner. Otherworldly aromas and flavors of rose petal, apricot, and peach are all at the forefront, and are confirmed on the palate thanks to bright citrus. The skin-contact white for those that enjoy Burgundy.
Step out of your comfort zone with this Alsatian orange wine that blends just enough bounce with a fruit core to go well with first round of appetizers at your gatherings. Sleeper pick of the year for those that are looking to enjoy a non-traditional French white (well, Orange!).

PHENOMENAL GRENACHE DRIVEN BLEND EVOKING THE BEST OF CÔTES DU RHÔNE!
Gravels is Newfound's ‘village’ level blend, based on a handful of vineyards that are planted upon gravelly soils and dedicated to the Mediterranean varietals that established the foundation of Matt & Audra Naumann's wine venture. First bottled in 2018, Gravels is a GSM blend built to over-deliver, providing a Mediterranean-inspired Red meant for any occasion around the table.
Varietal: 64% Grenache, 22% Carignan, 14% Mourvèdre. 100% whole cluster with light to medium extraction emphasizing nuance and aromatics. After spending a total of 18 months in their respective varietal independent vessels, the final wine was assembled for the first time just prior to bottling.
Taste: Bright aromatics, luxardo cherry, sage, dried rose petal. The palate maintains its red fruit intensity and carries through with supple mid-palate that’s more linear than broad. We suggest serving this bottling at cellar temperature or with a slight chill.
Enjoy this rustic & fresh GSM blend that is lovely in the glass... This red has the elegance and fragrance of a Grenache while showing the density and richness of a Carignan, a perfect blend that is elevated by the touch of Mourvèdre for that mid palate richness and depth. This one is not to be skipped!

Varietal: Classic Left-Bank Bordeaux blend with Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot.
Taste: With a velvet red color and a hint of amber, this Pauillac is full-bodied and rich in tannin. Vigorous, and powerful upon first sip. Aromas of black-currant, raspberry and flowers such as violets and roses melt with the passing of time into a bouquet which is long in the mouth. Persistent finish with some delicate earthy notes.

THE PERFECT INTRO TO THE WORLD OF BRUNELLO - SANGIOVESE AT ITS BEST!
Experience the vibrant character of Le Ragnaie's Brunello di Montalcino 2019. A Sangiovese capturing the essence of Montalcino thanks to uncompromising adherence to tradition. Notes of red fruit, spice, and a subtle earthiness engulf the senses, and delivers a gorgeous blend of the 2019 vintage & Le Ragnaie's style. We are HUGE fans of Riccardo Campinoti and his Montalcino label.
Varietal: 100% Sangiovese Grosso sourced from some vines 600+ meters above sea level. These vines are the highest of any in Montalcino, in an area that became famous for bird-catchers; the traditional bird-catcher’s net is featured on the label. The estate takes its name from the fact that this net looked rather like a spider’s web, or ragna, in Italian. This 2019 Brunello is aged exclusively in large neutral Slavonian oak barrels with ultra-long macerations.
Taste: The 2019 Brunello di Montalcino shows delicate aromas of blue flower, red currant, cranberry and potting soils. It has all the basic components of a classic Sangiovese. Baking spice is delivered to the palate with silky, almost glossy tannins. The mouthfeel is extremely fine, and builds to frame the tasting experience without slowing its momentum.
We tasted this beautiful Brunello with winemaker & proprietor Riccardo Campinoti over lunch in Montalcino last month! His high altitude vineyards are one-of-a-kind in the appellation. Classic Sangiovese core of cherry and strawberry fruit, along with leafy underbrush and rosemary accents makes this THE ITALIAN STAR on your dinner table.
