Dear Class of 2025 Families,

As we near the end of the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, here are some important reminders for Seniors.

As students are getting their college applications submitted and beginning to receive college decision notices, don't forget the following steps:

  • Updating SCOIR - Seniors should be updating the selected schools that they have applied to in the Colleges & Applications section, per the college decisions they receive. Students should update the status for each school with:

"Accepted"

“Deferred”

“Waitlisted”

“Denied”

  • Scholarships & Awards - There is an existing assignment in Schoology for Seniors to upload any Scholarship Award Letters and details as students receive them. Students must upload the ACTUAL award letter or a screenshot of the letter. The letter MUST include the student’s name, the name of the award, the school/organization giving the award, the dollar value/amount of the award and the terms (whether or not it renews each year, or if it is a one time amount). Reference screenshot below.

Please reach out to the Counseling Office if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Mercy Counseling Department
