Thank you for attending our March Office Hours!

Thank you for attending our Office Hours this week. We appreciate the sharing and collaborating that happens! You all are great supports for one another as you do this challenging work. As always, our Office Hours are voluntary opportunities to learn, share, and connect with others who are doing the impactful work that you are.

In the month of April, we'll have one session due to vacation week. Feel free to drop in, arrive late, leave early, or not attend. Office Hours are here for you!

Below are some of the slides that we shared:

  • Providers have had 693 student sessions!
  • 35% of the total sessions were initial sessions
  • 42% of the students have enrolled in MLMQ
  • Students voluntarily attended 44% of the sessions

Also, check out the incredible totals by month and by school. Great work!

Q & A

Q - The student I'm working with is having issues connecting to MLMQ. How can I help?

A - Great question! Sometimes students struggle enrolling in MLMQ or connecting with them. Ask a few questions of the student to determine what exactly is going on. If they are having issues with enrolling, try doing it with them to help determine what's going on. If a student is struggling with talking to a MLMQ Coach or is confused on how to do so, you can sit with the student and help them connect. Supporting a student as they connect to MLMQ is a great use of your time together as you're helping them remove a barrier, so that they have access to a resource. Here's a resource to help guide students in connecting to MLMQ.

Ideas to Share

Annie at Skowhegan Area High School asked students what they'd gain from quitting nicotine, then created a flyer to share with SAHS. Thanks for sharing Annie and for meeting students where they're at! Questions? You can reach out to Annie at adymarczyk@rfgh.net.

Do you have an idea, picture, or quote to share? If so, you can send it to Celena.Ranger@mainehealth.org
