Sadly, PETSI PIES will not be at the market this week; they are having staff shortages due to all the cold, flu and more going around. You can find great desserts and sweet treats at OVENBIRD CAFE


Welcome to new vendor MICROGREENS BY THE SEA! Ramon will be bringing a variety of fresh microgreens grown with indoor vertical farming; stop by to learn about the sustainable practices used in this method 


BLACK EYED SUSAN SHEEP DAIRY has new varieties of cheese and may even have a restock of their addictive gelato. Stop by and see what's available this week


As part of their long list of great offerings, COPICUT FARMS has stock packs and soup chickens to make amazing chicken stock and bone broth. We've been busy making healthy stock to freeze, ready for soups and stews


In addition to beautiful produce, FARMER DAVE's has frozen soups and quiches for weekend lunches & brunches. They are great to have on hand when life gets hectic!


Visit BOMBAY BRUNCH for prepared vegetarian foods made in the West Indian tradition. Options are both fresh and frozen


MY COUNTY MUSHROOMS has multiple varieties available, including new specialty shiitake mushrooms fresh from the grow room!

Entrance & Parking


ENTRANCE

The entrance to the Winter Market is around the back of the Waldorf School; follow the signs and balloons!


PARKING

Parking will be available on Mass. Ave., on the marked spots on the semi-circle in front of the school and the school's parking lot on the upper right, and limited Senior and ADA parking is available behind the school near the back entrance.

What's New This Week!

Microgreens By The Sea is an indoor farm located in the seaside village of Winthrop, MA, where they cultivate a variety of high quality microgreens. The greens are grown indoors in a cozy grow room where it is 80 degrees year round with air humidity just around 40%, free of any kind of pesticide, insect, or pollution. As they say, "Our goal is to contribute to the health, well-being and sustainability of our local and neighboring communities. At Microgreens By The Sea we do what we love, and we love what we do.''


Senior and ADA Accessible Parking Reminder!

 

The LFM is pleased to offer senior and ADA accessible customer parking close to the market site. At the market site, there are senior and ADA accessible parking spots marked with signs near the Market entrance.

SNAP UP Local Food

The LFM accepts SNAP and HIP

SNAP/EBT: Match up to $15 dollars when using SNAP at the LFM to shop with your favorite farmers and vendors.
 
Healthy Incentives Program (HIP): Purchase fruits and vegetables using your EBT card from authorized HIP farmers and the amount of sale will be automatically reimbursed as an instant rebate. Monthly maximums apply.
