Dear St. Paul Church & School Families,
The Church and School Winter Apparel store is now open! You can find this year's "Ugly Christmas" shirt, winter hats, & socks, along with a variety of other items.
The store will be open now until November 11. Orders will then be fulfilled and delivered to the school by November 22.
This is the second of three campaigns throughout the 2024-2025 school year. If you have any questions, please contact office@stpaulbaycity.org.
Thank you for supporting St. Paul Lutheran Church & School.

During the month of December St. Paul will have four Christmas special dress days. Once again, St. Paul has created a special Christmas inspired St. Paul Spirit wear shirt.
See above for ordering.

Wildcat Club Second Quarter
|
The Wildcat Club is an organization for St. Paul students in grades 4-8. During the Second Quarter, the Wildcat Club will explore the Rubik’s Cube.
Learning how to solve a Rubik’s Cube will help students to develop reasoning and problem solving, concentration, spatial ability, memory, and patience. Students can bring their own Rubik’s Cube or can use one supplied by generous donations from St. Paul’s PTO.
Any student in 4th-8th grade can participate as long as they have a signed permission slip. Students need not attend every single meeting. Principal Matyas will be the adult in charge.

Holly Jolly Christmas Store
|
The Holly Jolly Christmas Store is right around the corner (December 12 & 13). The Holly Jolly Christmas Store is a fully donation funded event, for students of St. Paul to shop for Christmas gifts for family. During the Holly Jolly Christmas store, students will shop with their classes to purchase gifts ranging in price from $1-$5 for family members. Gifts will go home with the students wrapped and ready to be delivered at Christmas.
To make this a successful event for St. Paul Students, the PTO needs your help!
We are accepting donations of large shopping bags (for students to bring gifts home in), gift bags, tissue paper, tape, along with new and gently used items for moms, dads, grandparents, and siblings.
Donation boxes are located inside the main entrance at the school and in the Ministry Center. There is also a Wish List Tree in the Ministry Center to take tags from. Every donation helps make the event special for our students.
We are also looking for Holly Jolly volunteers to set up and work the event. With increased enrollment, we appreciate as many volunteers as possible! Please sign up here and bring your cheer!

PTO Meeting on Wednesday, November 13th
Parents, please join us! The PTO will meet on November 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Pizza and childcare are provided.
In this meeting, we will be joined by Elizabeth Wagner from Wellspring Counseling. She will introduce herself and share information on Wellspring Counseling Services.
If you have not attended a PTO Meeting in the past, consider joining us! Meetings are a great opportunity for you to provide input on PTO-sponsored activities, vote on where funds are spent, and learn more about how to get involved with the school.
Meetings include classroom updates, Treasurer reports, (old and new) business discussions – including possible fundraisers, fellowship events, usage of PTO funds, and we vote on where PTO funds are allocated. Each meeting, parents are entered to win a prize for their attendance. We hope to see you on Wednesday night!
Thank you,
St Paul PTO Board Members
The next PTO Fundraiser will be November 12, 2024. Please see below for more information. Flyers will be sent home today.

First Quarter Chapel Offerings for Liberia
|
The students of St. Paul have been extremely generous with their Chapel Offerings for the First Quarter. We have received $225.73 for the Children’s Liberian Ministry. This money will help to build a Lutheran grade school in Liberia. Thank you for blessing this ministry!
|
Thank you to the St. Paul Teachers and Staff for making this year’s VIP Day such an enjoyable experience. The delicious refreshments, warm hospitality, and purposeful Chapel message all made the day great.
Trunk-or-Treat - Thank You!
|
A special thanks to all who supported our Trunk-or-Treat this year. If you hosted a trunk--thank you! If you donated food, supplies, or your time--thank you! There would be no event without these donations. We had wonderful weather and about 150 kids who participated in the event. -Janelle & Katie
