January 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the Hunger Offering! The Mission & Outreach Committee currently partners with the following recipients of the monthly hunger offering: HomeFront, Presbyterian Hunger Program, Send Hunger Packing Princeton, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, and Uniting Reformed Church in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Thank you for your long standing commitment to give until all are fed!

Journeys of Faith with Lauren McFeaters

Mondays, January 27 - February 24, 7:00 PM, Conference Room and Zoom

Join Roz Anderson Flood for the small group, Poetry as Memoir: Exploring the Origins of Our Faith. In this workshop we will develop poems, which are “mini-memoirs,” designed to reveal the origins of our faith. For inspiration we will read the works of other poets, practiced in narrative and confessional poetic expression. Some of our sessions will also feature guest poets who will share secrets of their craft.

“A Quarter Century of Creativity,” Trenton Community A-Team’s New-Year exhibit, kicks off a year-long celebration of the TCAT’s 25th anniversary. Since its founding, TCAT has been a beacon for Trenton artists, fostering creativity and showcasing the incredible talent of the community. This exhibit features diverse works that reflect the passion, resilience, and vision of its artists. 

The month of February is reserved to display the artwork of Nassau's children and youth in a Conference Room Art Show! We eagerly await any artwork your kids would like to share: paintings, drawings, sketching, pottery, poetry, Legos, 3D, etc. We look forward to sharing their good skills and handiwork with our congregation!

Please bring all artwork to the church office by January 29th

The Children and Family Ministry committee is excited to invite you to our all ages Valentine’s Day Dance! We will have live musicians and a caller and gather in the assembly room on February 14th from 7:00-8:00 PM. No experience necessary, everything will be called and it is sure to be great fun! We hope this will be a memorable way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. A punch and cookie reception will follow. Please bring one non perishable food item for Arm in Arm as your ticket.

The New School for Music Study presents a free recital, “Music and Nature,” February 2 at 2:30 PM in our sanctuary - perfect for audience members of all ages!

As a vibrant, diverse Christian community, Nassau depends on faithful, informed, and visionary leaders. Your Nominations Committee values your suggestions for Elder (the spiritual and governing leaders of the church who serve on Session), Deacon (leaders of compassion and care), Audit Committee, and the Nominations Committee. Nominees must be active church members and cannot be clergy. Please fill out the form found in the narthex, office, and literature rack, and return to the church office or offering plate or email your nominations to nominate@nassauchurch.org.

Join us for our Inquirers Classes for prospective church members as we consider God’s call to live and serve, the foundations of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, outreach, and fellowship. Participants will have an opportunity to meet new friends, church leaders, and staff.

While the building remains locked on some weekdays, administrative staff are onsite full time and program staff are in the office regularly. Please use the doorbell at the ramp entrance if you need access when the church office is open. If you need to drop something off, the locked drop box at the bottom of the ramp is checked daily.
