Federal Grants

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Business Development Grant Program offers business opportunity and business enterprise grants to governments and nonprofits.


The National Park Service Save America's Treasures Preservation and Collections Grants provide preservation and/or conservation assistance to nationally significant historic properties and collections.

State Grants

MassTrails Grants fund development, design, engineering, permitting, construction, and maintenance of recreational trails, shared-use pathways, and the amenities that support trails. 


The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources Food Ventures Program supports food processing infrastructure to meet the needs of the growing local food system, including distribution and retail outlet strategies to improve equitable access.

Grant & Equity Advocacy

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) invites nominations by November 14, 2024 for its Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC). Chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), Public Law 92-463, the LGAC advises the EPA Administrator on environmental issues impacting local governments.
