All About Coyotes


The Environment & Wildlife Committee along with St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center are presenting a public information meeting for residents about coyotes on Seabrook Island.


It will be held on Tuesday, March 11 at 7:00 PM at The Lake House in Live Oak Hall.


Jared Crain, Director of the Barrier Island Environmental Education Program at St. Christopher Camp and Conference Center, will lead the discussion about coyotes and their presence on our barrier island.


Jay Butfiloski from SCDNR will also be presenting.

Free Shredding Events


Town Hall will host two shredding events for 2025. The first will be on Wednesday, April 9 and the second will be on October 8. Both will be 10 AM - 1 PM at Town Hall.

Disaster Awareness Day


Disaster Awareness Day 2025 will be hosted by the town this year. It will be on Thursday, May 29 from 10 AM- 1 PM at The Club. Free lunch will be provided for those who attend. Be on the lookout for more details to come!


2025 Chow Town


Our Chow Town food truck rodeos are just around the corner! We have a great lineup for this summer.


All events will be held from 5 PM- 8 PM at Town Hall (2001 Seabrook Island Rd). There will be a local musician and lots of great food vendors!

2025 Town Grant Programs


There are two town grant programs you can now apply for.


The Community Promotions Grant & the Environment and Wildlife Conservation Grant.


Both grants may awarded by the town to eligible organizations to provide financial support for programs, projects and activities.

The town started accepting applications on March 1st.

Existing STR Permits


Current number of Active STR Permits: 598


Of these, 491 are inside the new STR Overlay District, and 107 are in all other areas of the island.

The off-peak season beach rules for pets are in effect until March 31, 2025. For a full list of rules read more here.

Free 2025 Tide Tables


2025 Tide Tables are now available at Town Hall (2001 Seabrook Island Road) and the SIPOA Administration Office (1202 Landfall Way). Residents may stop by either location during regular business hours to pick up a free copy.

Code Enforcement Portal


A reminder that we have a town Code Enforcement Portal. You can find it on the homepage of our town website here. This tool may be used to report alleged violations of the town's Code of Ordinances and Development Standards Ordinance.

Seabrook Island Master Plan

SIC (Seabrook Island Club), SIPOA (Seabrook Island Property Owners Association) and the Town of Seabrook Island are working together to develop an aligned long-term Master Plan of how to best leverage the Island’s facilities, assets and services to cost-effectively meet the future needs of Seabrook Island.
