Thank you to our 15 January venues for kicking off 2025 with a festive night of art, film, food and music. The streets were bustling with holiday visitors and locals eager to keep the festive spirit alive. Your commitment to Santa Barbara's art scene makes this city a brighter place, and we sincerely appreciate everything you do.

How to Participate in February's Art Walk:

Existing Members: 


Welcome back! We’d love to have you join us again. Please follow these simple steps to confirm your participation:



  1. Let us know you’re in! Simply reply to this email with your intent to participate.
  2. Complete a NEW ABC Form (if needed, valid 6 months from signing).
  3. Submit your event details through our DSB web portal, or via email if that’s easier. We’ll need:
  • An image (600 x 600 pixels)
  • A 50-word description of your event (Who’s your featured artist? What’s happening? Let us know what guests can expect!)

New Members:


Welcome aboard! We can’t wait for you to join the Art Walk family. Here’s how to get started:



  1. Reply to this email with your intent to participate and your desired membership tier.
  2. Sign the Program Policies & Agreement and submit an ABC application if you’ll be serving beverages.
  3. Submit payment through our Payment Portal (or request an invoice if paying by check).
  4. Send us your event details through the DSB web portal, or by email if preferred:
  • An image (600 x 600 pixels)
  • A 50-word event description (What’s happening at your venue? Share the highlights!)

Important Deadlines for February Participation:


By Friday, January 10th:

  • Confirm your intent to participate & membership tier
  • Submit signed forms (Program Agreement & ABC application, if needed)
  • Complete payment (either online or via invoice)

By Monday, January 13th:

  • Submit your event information (send to artwalk@downtownsb.org)
  • Featured image (600 x 600 pixels)
  • 50-word event description (What’s happening? What should guests expect?)


We appreciate your timely submissions! This allows us enough time to prepare communications, design the Passport, and distribute promotional materials.

Annual Membership w/ Beer & Wine: $1,500

  • 12 months of participation in the 1st Thursday Art Walk (only $75/month!)
  • $50 Beer and Wine ABC application fee included for all 12 months
  • Payment valid for (1) year from purchase date


Annual Membership (abc's not included): $900

  • 12 months of participation in the 1st Thursday Art Walk (only $75/month!)
  • ABC's available for purchase a la carte
  • Payment valid for (1) year from purchase date


6-month Membership: $600

  • 6 months of participation in the 1st Thursday Art Walk
  • ABC’s available for purchase a la carte
  • Payment valid for the months of Aug 2024-July 2025 and cannot roll over


3-month Membership: $400

  • 6 months of participation in the 1st Thursday Art Walk
  • ABC’s available for purchase a la carte
  • Payment valid for the months of Aug 2024-July 2025 and cannot roll over


À La Carte

  • Monthly Participation in 1st Thursday events—> $150
  • ABC Daily License to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Beer & Wine only: $50
  • General (all liquor): $75
