FROM THE DIRECTOR
Before we dive into February and all things Valentine’s Day and Pet Month, I would like to thank Mandy Miller and Mary Beth Musice for co-chairing a fantastic Trike-a-Thon! Thank you to the amazing committee who helped with set-up, clean-up, and on-site support during the event – Heather Allen, Emily Bearden, Erika Beerbower, Maura Gillon, Pete Miller, Austin Musice, Chelsie Pickett, Caroline Swanson, and Sonia Tankersley. The children had a BLAST while learning about helping others in need. I am so excited to share that we raised over $11,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
Did you know that February is Pet Month here at All Saints School? This theme is so meaningful to children as they are naturally drawn to animals, and most are familiar with a pet either from their own household or from a neighbor, friend, or family member. Our teachers will use animals and pets to teach across all domains; you will see many hands-on learning opportunities including veterinary dramatic play, agility courses, graphing and sorting various types of animals, vocabulary building through songs and literature, and art with dog bones, feathers, and animal prints. Our Outdoor Classroom has been transformed into a pet store and animal hospital. Through these activities, the children will be learning about and practicing empathy, compassion, respect, and responsibility.
Registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open to the public! Thank you to our current families who registered; you will receive more information in late July/early August with information regarding the coming school year. We have limited space remaining in Threes and Kindergarten. Please share with friends, family members, or neighbors who may be interested in joining our All Saints family!
With Love,
Emory
