Hope everyone is enjoying the fresh powder! 

Keep an eye out for our rescheduled hybrid All-Parent PTO meeting Thursday March 6th, 8:45am in the Bates library and online. Zoom link to come late February. We will learn about social-emotional support for our students at Bates from Kate Stanley (Psychologist) and Marisa Cheung (School Adjustment Counselor) and learn more about Wellesley A Better Chance (ABC). 

A friendly reminder that 4th and 5th graders can BYO helmets and skates for the rollerblading unit. Bates also has all equipment needed available in PE.

Tomorrow is our next Central Council Meeting. It’s the intersection of PTO Presidents and town. We look forward to reporting back on timely topics. Anything on your mind for next month? Bates Book Fair

March 3 - 7

Kids will shop during their library block or Family Night. Family Night will be Wednesday, March 5 from 5:30-7:30 pm. More information to come on e-wallets, how to help buy more books for Bates, and volunteer opportunities. 

FAMILY EVENTS

The Grand Summit Resort has only a few double occupancy rooms left, but there are a few slope-side condos available. If you miss out on the slope-side options, you can still book a place nearby (we'd love to hear a first-hand review of The Mountaineer Inn!), join the party and other meet-ups at the resort. Just let us know you'll be there and we will keep you in the loop.

February at Wellesley Mathnasium

Register your student for tutoring in February, mention that your child attends Bates, and Mathnasium will donate $100 to the PTO.
