Project Coordinator


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all project staff have the most current documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) from the Architect.
  • Act as liaison between supervisor, departments, external contacts, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure the printer/reprographics company has the latest documents on file.
  • Maintain up-to-date drawing sticks and electronic files for Owner/jobsite meetings and reference.
  • Keep a historical set of documents.
  • Maintain subcontractor submittal files (shop drawings, samples, product data).
  • Order or make copies of documents when needed.
  • Maintain project engineering logs (RFIs, submittals, approval letters).
  • Oversee records retention at project conclusion, including off-site storage.
  • Process day-to-day administrative tasks (mail, expense reports, packages, checks, etc.).
  • Compose/edit and distribute letters, memos, reports, and correspondence on time.
  • Track recurrent report due dates and meeting schedules.
  • Process orders, reports, and invoices for payment.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Maintain calendars with vacation dates, meeting schedules, etc.
  • Answer phones and direct calls.
  • Perform photocopying and filing using Highland Fairview software.



Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to create routine reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, maturity, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicated well both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Procore.


Assistant Superintendent


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project scheduling and budget adherence while tracking performance and key goal completion.
  • Collect and review field testing data with the General Superintendent and manage the change management process.
  • Research compliance regulations and adjust project specifications under stakeholder direction.
  • Collaborate with contractors and consultants to assess needs and evaluate drawings and specs with the General Superintendent.
  • Oversee the RFI and submittal process and prepare option packages for VP/Owner review.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, and 3-10 years of construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, create routine reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, maturity, and interpersonal skills.
  • Takes initiative and is a self-starter.
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Procore.


Project Engineer


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules, including milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation
  • Technical Design Review: Analyze construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and feasibility
  • Cost Estimating: Prepare cost breakdowns for project elements and track expenditures against the budget
  • Site Supervision: Regularly visit the construction site to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure construction work meets project standards
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues during construction
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, review proposals, and ensure their work aligns with project requirements
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and technical reports
  • Change Order Management: Evaluate and manage change orders related to project scope and budget


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent field experience
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials
  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., scheduling tools, project management software) preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical documents
  • Capable of creating routine reports and correspondence
  • Self-motivated with a professional, mature demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Sage software is a plus
