A Note From Our New Board Chair
This start-of-the-year brings more than the usual new opportunities for us, and I am so excited to be working with you all to bring them to fruition. The next eleven months promise to be filled with new opportunities, innovative initiatives, and, most importantly, continued collaboration among our diverse and dynamic membership. As we navigate an ever-changing business landscape, our collective strength lies in the relationships we build and the support we offer one another. Together, we will continue to grow, thrive, and make impactful connections.
This year, our theme is Making Impactful Connections (see graphic), and every activity and event will do just that. We remain committed to our vision to be a recognized world-class operation that drives prosperity for our members and community. Our mission to develop and provide leadership through opportunities that enhance, educate, connect, inform, and advocate will stay top of mind with everything we do.
Beginning in February, we will have a new CEO on board, and we'll start construction on an exciting renovation of our building. In addition, we just launched a brand new Small Business Community dedicated to supporting the growth and success of local small businesses.
We encourage you to engage with your fellow members, attend our events, and take full advantage of the resources available through the Chamber. Our success is directly tied to the active participation of each member. Your involvement helps ensure we can continue to advocate for policies that benefit local businesses and the broader community.
On behalf of the board, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your support and commitment to the chamber. Together, we are poised to accomplish great things, and I look forward to all that we will achieve in the year ahead.
Sincerely,
Monica Scott, Logotology
Richardson Chamber Board Chair for 2025

A Note From Our Outgoing President
As we wrap up January, I will be closing the door on my time as president of the chamber. It has been such an incredible honor to serve in this capacity for the last three years, and I am so proud of the tremendous changes we’ve seen through together.
These changes were made possible by you, the members, who were supportive and enthusiastic at every turn. From new committees, to a new brand, to new events and now to a new building, you willingly navigated the road and helped out along the way. I will be forever grateful for the friendships that have grown - and the new ones that have been made. The amount of grace that has been given won’t be forgotten.
While the work stays behind, the people don’t. This isn’t goodbye. I’ll continue to serve as Executive Director of Leadership Richardson, which as many of you know was my first passion at the chamber.
So, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope our paths continue to cross.
Sincerely,
Kim Quirk

Spotlight on Oncor
When Oncor laid its first power lines at the beginning of the 20th century, who could have imagined the speed of change that would fuel the ongoing need for electricity? With more than 143,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines serving more than 400 communities and 98 counties, we do more than simply keep the lights on. Throughout the decades, the same determination that fired up the first incandescent bulbs across Texas hasn't faltered. At Oncor, the sparks of innovation are alive and well.
Each year, we invest billions in state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced technologies to create a safer, smarter, more reliable power grid. Through our investment, we leverage the power of predictive analytics to monitor dangerous storms, identify problem areas before they happen, and restore service more quickly. We champion an electric superhighway that delivers wind and solar power. And most importantly, we partner with the people of Texas — working with communities, businesses, government representatives and non-profit organizations to nurture the quality of life and economic well-being that makes Texas an incredible place to live.
