We welcome you to bring your friends and family to enjoy some birthday cake, good company, and good cheer. We will be waiving drop-in fees all day, so it’s the perfect time to bring a friend, family member or neighbor along for the fun:

  • Building tours led by staff
  • Art activities (all ages): 10 am – 2 pm
  • Family Style Drop-in Basketball (ages 5+): 10 am – 12 pm
  • Open gym with toys (all ages): 12 – 2 pm
  • Open swim (all ages): 1:20 – 2:45 pm

The Fundamentals of Self-Defense

Discover the confidence and skills to protect yourself in any situation! NECC’s Self-Defense Fundamentals is a two-day, community-based course open to everyone—no prior experience required. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to brush up on key concepts, this class offers a perfect introduction to self-defense.

Over two sessions, you’ll explore the Five A’s of self-defense: Awareness, Alertness, Avoidance, Anticipation, and Action. Learn preventative strategies alongside practical techniques such as footwork, striking, and grappling basics—all in a supportive and engaging environment. You can choose to work with a partner or focus on solo practice; no physical contact is required to benefit from this course.

Class currently only open to members. Secure your place today!

Summer Camp Registration 😎

Summer camp registration is around the corner! Registration opens at 12 pm on February 3 for members and February 7 for everyone.

Last year, our summer camps filled up in less than a week! For the best chance of securing your first-choice camps, start a youth membership by February 3.

Please note that the camper's membership must remain active until the camp is completed. While membership provides priority registration, it does not guarantee a spot in the camp. Check out camps like Pokemon Camp, Space Explorers, Mermaid Camp, and more on our website.
