No matter who you are or where you've been, the best place to be on a snow day is on a sled! This heartwarming story was too good not to share. Charles Gowan (a Class of 2009 Eagle Scout from Troop 555, pictured above pointing) and his fellow first responders from Station 20 and Water Rescue 3 started their day with frigid river training, but they didn’t stop there. That afternoon, they brought the fun to Forest Hill Park, turning their gear into the ultimate sledding experience for local families. Photo Credit: Richmond Magazine | |

Annual Health & Medical Records
The Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) is a vital part of ensuring a safe and enjoyable Scouting experience by documenting a participant’s medical history and health status. Required annually, the form includes Parts A and B for all Scouts and leaders, while Part C, completed by a licensed medical provider, is necessary for events longer than 72 hours. Proper storage and handling of these records help protect privacy while allowing leaders to plan for health needs and emergencies during Scouting activities.
