Congratulations to our TEAM FX racers and pacers for completing their 2025 Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K! We had a very successful race weekend, complete with Pre-Race Pasta Dinner and After Party! Once again, everyone who started their race finished injury free! I'm excited to list our finishers in order of finish time. CONGRATS TEAM FX 2025!

WHY WE DO IT

With a whole community of support, we handed over this "Little Check" to Rhanda Luna, Director of Corporate Giving from SAFE at our After Party Celebration! HUGE thanks to all the 141 donors, all our team members, community partners, race crew volunteers, professional practitioners, and sustaining members. Plus, we couldn't have done it without the support of our families and friends. We are so grateful. THANK YOU!

SPRING FORWARD

Twenty years ago in 2005, 13 charter members came together to form TEAM FX for its first year. Since then, nearly 400 race medals have been awarded to our team members and we've raised nearly $800,000 for SAFE. I'm excited to celebrate 20 years, already looking ahead at the possibilities for 2026, and we have BIG PLANS! 

YOU'RE INVITED to KICK-OFF our 20TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR with our fun, relaxed 6-week Spring Cap10K training season, starting with our ONE-MILE KICK-OFF WALK THIS SATURDAY! Please JOIN US to train (walk or run) for this shorter, easier, fun training this Saturday, February 22nd! No obligation. Just enjoy a walk down on Ladybird Lake with us. SEE YOU THERE!

TO TEACH LOVE

Look what amazing things happen when we pull our efforts together, in spite of all our challenges. WE ARE THE HOPE! I'm so proud of every single person involved with this effort! CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU for all your hard work, persistence, and compassion. It was a truly great season! THANK YOU to SAFE for the amazing work they do for our children, and to all our community partners, service providers, prize donors, Race Crew volunteers, significant others and families, and especially YOU, for being so generous with your support of us the Children's Services at SAFE. It truly takes an army of love to make this happen. We couldn't have done it without you. Team, please be sure and thank all who have supported your journey.

We've had a great season for fundraising, but please continue to keep these children in your hearts and minds. The tragedies continue and we will continue to step up with love and support of the amazing work done at SAFE.
