The events in the past month have certainly been a reminder of the importance of focusing on what we can control and all that we have in common.
It's a privilege to be a part of our cross-border 1000 Islands River community and I'm proud of Hucks' long-standing presence of over 136 years. When I look out today on a frozen River, I smile knowing that Summer is around the corner. Whether you're looking at the River from the South or the North, you're probably feeling the same. This River connects all of us regardless of which shore we call home.
As I've said before, I view boats as the ultimate 'experience delivery device'. Unlike a two-week vacation with pictures as keepsakes, owning a boat provides you a unique platform for planing and creating ongoing experiences with every summer season ... and when the next Spring rolls around, you still have your boat. Despite what's going on in our world today, we're focused on getting boats ready for our customers from around the world as the entire Crew looks forward to welcoming you back to the River in a few short months.
When we aren't actually on the water, we all like to talk about our next boat or boating adventure and these stories keep our passion alive throughout the year. We've added a new section to our newsletter, "Where We Boat", to highlight the people and places that provide us with the best boating moments and memories to share.
See you on the water...soon:)
