RASCW Good Neighbor Award: Now Accepting Nominations!

RASCW knows community is everything to our members, and that everyday acts of kindness are part of who you are and what you do. To shine the spotlight on our members’ commitment to service, we are bringing the NAR Good Neighbor Award local for a fourth year and dedicating the next month to collecting stories of what you, colleagues, or your office are doing to make a difference. The award will be a monetary donation to a local nonprofit organization of choice – a total of $15,000 will be distributed amongst all recipients and their organizations! Last year, four members received this award. Click here to see the list of last year's winners and the other deserving nominees. Click here or the image on the right for complete award criteria and nomination instructions. Nominate yourself or someone else by November 15, 2024!

2025 RASCW Membership Renewal:

What to Expect

License and association membership renewal season is now upon us - your renewal dues invoice will be emailed on or around October 15th, so keep an eye on your inbox for that! In the meantime, click here for more information on the membership renewal process, including how you can pay your dues, which dues items are voluntary and reasons for electing to contribute to one or more of those causes, and the membership renewal deadline (December 1!) and timeline. We are encouraging everyone to pay their renewal invoice, as well as begin and complete the license renewal process, as early as possible to avoid late fees and suspension of member services. Have questions? Please email to Jen Dimiceli: Jen@wisre.com.

RASCW Member Wins NAR Good Neighbor Award!

The National Association of REALTORS® just revealed the five winners of their 2024 Good Neighbor Awards. Celebrating its 25th year, this program honors members who are making an extraordinary difference in their communities by giving time, money, energy, and expertise to uplift people. Charlie is a co-founder of 100 Men of Dane County, a program where 100 community members make an impact by committing to donate $4,000 annually. To date, they have donated more than $2.3 million in grants, primarily benefiting small nonprofit organizations. Click here for more about the award and all the winners, and here for information about Charlie's work and significant contributions to his community.

Each of the five winners – selected by a multistage, criteria-based judging process – will be awarded a $10,000 grant for their charity and be featured in the fall 2024 edition of REALTOR® Magazine. NAR will present each individual with their award on November 9 during NAR NXT, the association’s annual conference, hosted this year in Boston. Congrats, Charlie - this was so deserved!

RASCW Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

As National Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 through October 15 is dedicated to celebrating the contributions of Hispanic Americans throughout our history, as well as recognizing the barriers, bias, and discrimination they have faced, and continue to face, including in the areas of housing and real estate. Here are a number of ways you can educate yourself about Hispanic American history and continue to help work toward positive change, equality, and inclusion in our industry and communities, this and every month:
