Celebrate World Sight Day with the World! Thursday, October 10th

1.2 billion people worldwide lack access to basic, life-changing eye care—but the gift of sight is one that we can give together.

World Sight Day is an annual day of awareness supported by eye health organizations around the world to draw global attention to vision impairment and to raise funds to combat them.

Hope Alliance envisions a future where vision care is available to all who need it, regardless of their station in life or location on the planet. Vision for All - three simple words that, when realized, transform vision care from a luxury to a basic human right. Hope Alliance provides free, quality vision exams, prescription eyeglasses, and critical eye care for those who do not have access.

Celebrate World Sight Day with us on Thursday, October 10th, and make an immediate impact!

Make Your Impact Here

At our 25th anniversary celebration, we asked our community to share how they see the world—and their heartfelt responses truly touched us!

Wasatch County Super Healthy Kids Wellness Fair September 12th

Dr. Humphreys and our local volunteer dream team hosted a Kids’ Clinic at the Wasatch Super Healthy Kids Wellness Fair in Heber City, where 22 kids came out to have their eyes examined. Of that number, 14 kids experienced their first-ever eye exam! Following the exams, 16 kids needed eyeglasses! This shows that the need for better vision among the youth in our community is a real issue. Imagine how clear vision is going to improve these kids' lives!

Moab Vision Clinic September 18-20

Hope Alliance teamed up with Dr. Wilkins and 7 optometry student doctors from Rocky Mountain University to host a two-day vision clinic at the Hope Alliance Vision Center in Moab. Dr. Farrell examined students of all ages at our SeeKidsSee Pop-up Kids' Clinic at the local elementary school in Moab. This effort brought much-needed vision care directly to the students, ensuring access to essential services right in their school. Life-changing care was provided to 126 greater Moab community members!

THANK YOU to all the incredible volunteers who joined us

in September for THREE service projects!

It was our honor to participate in the first Serve Park City community-wide service event honoring the 9/11 anniversary. We look forward to participating in this program each year. In September, Hope Alliance was out in the community from Jeremy Ranch to South Summit County, bringing people together and helping us label and sort thousands of donated eyeglasses!

Our volunteers make every event a SUCCESS!

Hope Alliance Mexico Vision Expedition October 2-7

The Puerto Peñasco Rotary Club is gearing up for our upcoming vision expedition by screening children and inviting those in need to attend our clinic. One student has been trying to see through his old glasses (lower right picture), but this week, he will get new glasses and be able to see clearly soon!
