Sunday, December 22nd, 2024

It's the 4th Sunday of Advent and in this Sunday's powerful message, we're invited to reflect on those extraordinary moments when God breaks into our ordinary lives. Pastor Charlie will reflect on the story of the shepherds and how it reminds us that even in the midst of our routine, God can appear in surprising ways. Are we paying attention to those moments when the divine intersects with our mundane routines? As we journey through the final days of Advent, let's cultivate a heightened awareness of God's presence in the ordinary, allowing these encounters to change the direction of our steps and shape our faith journey.

Join us Sunday on campus or digitally:

8AM in the Sanctuary | Weekly communion & favorite hymns.

9:30AM in Maxwell Hall | Sing praises with our band.

11AM in the Sanctuary | Familiar liturgy & hear our choir.

11AM on YouTube | Join with others in our live chat.

Did you see the Midweek Reflection on Wednesday?

Advent is a time of reflection about the gifts that God has given us, and how we can be a gift to the lives of others. Pastor Charlie looks at three ways that we can support the Coalition for the Homeless of Nassau County in this coming week. It's never and easy time to be homeless, and it can feel even more isolating at the holidays. Hear the invitation from Pastor Charlie for more ways we can be a blessing to others this Christmas.
