FREE Girl Scout STEM-Tastic Badge Workshop

Girls will discover and explore facts about the sun, moon, planets and stars in the sky. They will have the opportunity to make galaxy slime, build a Lego moon base, and create their own nebula spin art. A parent or guardian should plan to attend with their individual scout and help guide them through their requirements. Troops are also welcome.

Model Behavior

One of the most underutilized parenting strategies for young children is behavior modeling. So often, we are focused on teaching academic skills and forget that we must also expressly model the behaviors we want our kids to emulate. The car is one of the best places to focus on modeling because you have a captive audience and no shortage of natural opportunities to practice handling frustration. Read more here.

Our dynamic small group Spring Workshops are presented by experienced educators with a talent for piquing children’s natural curiosity and offer age appropriate activities that are especially designed to foster creativity, promote self-expression and develop a young child’s imagination.

Curriculum is designed to support the cognitive development of early learners through hands-on engagement. Critical thinking skills are nurtured through cause and effect interactive learning techniques using art, dramatic play, squishing, sorting, mixing, swirling, collecting and building.
