Read below for more information about the program! | STEM to Stern Program Starts |
This week kicked off the 4th year of the STEM to Stern program at the Caspersen Rowing Center. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 16-18 Trenton area middle schoolers come to the Caspersen Rowing Center for an hour of rowing activities followed by an hour of STEM projects. STEM to Stern is a national initiative whose mission is to create more competitive and diverse rowing programs by eliminating barriers to access that many communities face.
PNRA/Mercer is in partnership with Princeton University Rowing whose coaches and athletes are assisting in both rowing and STEM instruction.
