As followers of Christ, we are committed to creating a community of care, accountability, and safety for all. Safe Church Training is required for all volunteers who work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults as well as for ministry leaders, but we invite everyone, without exception, to participate in this important training.
We are offering both in-person and online options to make it as accessible as possible:
In-Person Training:
Saturday, February 22nd from 9:00am-12:30pm. Basic level training with lunch provided.
Please note an additional Leadership Level Training, appropriate for Vestry Members, Ministry Leaders and Staff, will be offered immediately after lunch from 1:00-3:30pm.
Online Training: Available anytime, digital modules to complete at your own pace, with certification quiz. Anticipated time for completion is 3-5 hours.
Whether you are a volunteer, a newcomer, or a longtime member of our congregation, this training is an opportunity to deepen our shared commitment to a culture of safety and trust.
