The big storm that hit the southeast mostly spared us in Charlotte. Our neighbors to the west got hammered including the college that my daughter attends near Asheville. They moved up Fall Break and so she won't have school for two weeks. We are hoping she can drive down off the mountain today but cell phone reception is very spotty we can't talk to her this morning.
