Work-life balance isn’t about achieving perfection. It’s about being intentional with our time and energy. Some days, work demands more of us. Other days, family and personal priorities take the lead. The key is to set realistic expectations and give ourselves grace in the process.

Dr. Mirnics appointed dean of Munroe-Meyer Institute

Karoly Mirnics, MD, PhD, will soon be dean as well as director of the Munroe-Meyer Institute. The title change, effective March 1, was made official by the University of Nebraska Board of Regents at its Feb. 7 meeting.

Potential shines in MMI's 2024 annual report

The Munroe-Meyer Institute has released its annual report, showcasing the institute’s work to help uncover unrealized potential of the children and adults it served on a daily basis over the past year.

Registration open for 21st Walk and Roll for Disabilities

Walkers and rollers are set to take over the top level of the Oak View Mall next month during the Meyer Foundation for Disabilities’ 21st annual Walk and Roll for Disabilities.

Munroe-Meyer Guild announces 2025 grants

The three proposals from the Munroe-Meyer Institute will receive $70,000 from the guild. The Munroe-Meyer Guild has funded grants at MMI for more than 50 years, totaling more than $1 million in grants.
