The Epiphany Pageant & Holy Eucharist

Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

The Annual Epiphany Pageant will take place THIS Sunday, January 5 during the 10:00 a.m. service.


Please attend on Sunday morning to hear the retelling of our Feast Day story!


Children, youth, and adults who signed up to participate in the pageant need to arrive at 8:30 a.m. for the rehearsal.

Immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service will be our Feast Day Feast: A Tex-Mex POTLUCK lunch in the parish hall.


Please RSVP to ensure we have adequate seating for everyone who attends.


THEN Sign up to bring an entrée (chili-con-carne, tamales, enchiladas, etc.), salad, slaw, cornbread, or toppings (shredded cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, chopped onions).


Drinks, desserts and chips & salsa will be provided.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

January DEAM Pantry Drive

Epiphany stocks the pantry at the Decatur-area Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM) twice a year in January and June.


For the month of January, we are collecting grape and strawberry jelly, canned fruit, protein bars, and peanut butter cracker packs. Wooden bins for your donations are in the gallery inside the front door.

Adult Formation

Join The Rev. Amy Dills-Wright and The Rev. Carmie McDonald for a three-part adult formation series, “Returning to our Roots,” Sundays January 12, 19, and February 2.


We will explore our Anglican/Episcopal identity including our history and governance, theology, sacraments, and spirituality. This series also serves as the formation needed for adult confirmation.

1/12—The Epiphany Young Adults (20s and 30s) will gather on Sunday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the church for "Jams with Julie" to learn more about the organ. Please bring a snack or drink to share. No formation programs will take place at this time

1/26—All members of the parish are encouraged to join us in the parish hall at 11:30 a.m. for this important meeting in the life of our church. The Rev. Amy Dills-Wright and members of the Vestry will report on the state of the parish in 2024 and look ahead to what’s planned for 2025. We will also elect new vestry members and thank those who are retiring.
