Boatyard Biz: No rest for winter's weary, Haven Harbour spring-bound

Winter at Haven Harbour is a time for our staff to prepare for the summer season to come – and to complete many major projects for our clients before their official splash in the spring.

Whether it be the painting of hulls, re-power of engines, repair of teak, or installation of the latest electronics, the boating off-season is primetime for owners to enhance their vessels in preparation for the season ahead – and for Haven Harbour Yacht Services to help check off numerous vessel improvement wish lists.

Although we welcome winter as a time to catch our collective breath in the "off-season," the truth of the matter is that these short and chilly days are abuzz with excitement and activity in our shops and boatyards. Reminder: Commissioning work order information has been sent

Spring launches are set to begin mid-March, one month away. With that in mind, we have sent to our winter storage customers at both Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South information pertinent to spring commissioning – and the work order to be completed.

If you are a storage customer and have not received said information, please check your email's junk folder. An electronic form is also conveniently accessible 24/7 at havenharbour.com/commissioning. We ask all storage customers to complete and submit their commissioning work orders, via either the online form or downloadable PDF, no later than Saturday, March 1.

New for 2025, we are asking that all future transient slip reservations be made using Dockwa. Please contact us with any question or concerns.
