From September 15th through October 15th, we recognize National Hispanic Heritage Month. This month we celebrate and honor the contributions made by members of the Hispanic community. With great fanfare, celebrations sweep across Latin America, Central America, and Mexico commemorating each country's independence!

Cypress Lawn: Celebrating Life

Building Maintenance at 66 Raymond Ave.

Due to building maintenance, 66 Raymond Ave. will be closed from Monday, September 30 to Tuesday, October 8, 2024.


Felton senior activities will be moved to 1099 Sunnydale Ave. 66 Raymond will reopen on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

CYC Community Empowerment Presentation

Community Youth Center will give a Safety Tips Workshop at 1099 Sunnydale Ave.


This will be in English. There will also be free giveaways.


Another presentation in Chinese will be held at 1099 Sunnydale Ave. on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 11 AM - 12 PM.

The Community Choir is Back

Choir Director, Rita Lackey from the Community Music Center is back to direct our choir for our 2024 - 2025 season.


The choir performs Pop, Rock, Classic American Standards, and Gospel.


If you want to join, we will begin at

66 Raymond Ave. gymnasium on

Thursday, September 12, 12:30 to 2 PM

and continues every Thursday at the same time.

Project Open Hand serves lunches 7 days a week at 66 Raymond Ave. Meals are FREE. Seniors may give a $2 donation, but it is not required. Non-seniors and visitors are required to pay $6 per meal.

Where to Get Tested

People should go to their health care provider first if they have one. If you are in need, the San Francisco Department of Public Health has over 20 sites that offer drop-in options to receive a test.
