We are excited to announce that admission notifications for the first round of completed applications will be available tomorrow, Friday, January 24, 2025 at 4:00pm!  Please check your email for an important message, acceptance packet information and instructions for the 2025-26 enrollment process.


Plus...families who pay the online registration fee by February 6 will save $150 off the enrollment deposit!


Marlins are asked to take a photo in their Mercy gear with their acceptance letter and send it to us at jhearle@mhsmi.org. Your photo might be included in Mercy media!

Class of 2029 Mass & Breakfast

As part of the Mercy Class of 2029 acceptance packet, there will be a link to register to the New Family Welcome Mass & Breakfast on Sunday, January 26 at 10:00am in the Mercy HS Chapel. Breakfast is hosted by the Mercy Dads' Club. Please enter at the Administrative Reception first entrance on the East side of the building. We look forward to celebrating Mass with you!


New Parent Information Night for Accepted Students

We welcome all parents/guardians of accepted students in the Class of 2029 to New Parent Information Night on Wednesday, February 5 at 6:30pm in the Mercy Media Center. Information presented includes: curriculum, registration, athletics, activities, Q & A and more.

AFFORDABILITY


A Mercy education may be more affordable than you think! In keeping with our school mission, Mercy is proud to award approximately $1 million annually in tuition assistance. Financial aid is awarded annually by the Mercy High School Financial Aid Committee on the basis of financial need as determined by FACTS Management Grant & Aid Assessment (FACTS) and/or special requirements of the named scholarships.


Class of 2029 families need to complete their FACTS Grant & Aid application and submit all financial documents. In addition, students are required to submit the Mercy High School Financial Aid Application Cover Sheet and a one page double spaced essay describing themselves and explaining how they exemplify the Mercy Core ValuesClick here for essay cover sheet which should be submitted along with your essay to the President’s Office.

HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST

Eighth grade students interested in attending Mercy must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Cost of the HSPT is $50.


All students must register online to take the HSPT. Students have through the Thursday before each test to register or make changes online. Registration is open through the AOD here.

7th & 8th grade students are invited to spend one school day at Mercy. Experience our campus, attend classes, meet teachers and discover the amazing atmosphere at Mercy. A delicious lunch is provided and guests leave with a special Mercy gift. 


You can request a Mercy 9th or 10th grader for your student to spend the day with, or we can pair her with a student based on similar interests. At the end of the day, students will meet with one of our Admissions staff.

Open House is an opportunity for families to tour Mercy High School, meet students and staff, and learn more about our curriculum and extracurricular activities. Tours generally last an hour and include short academic department presentations.
