Sponsor A Family: Empowering Families

This Holiday Season

Thanks to your generous donations to our Sponsor A Family Campaign, you are helping us provide trauma-informed care by restoring choice to over 200 families who have experienced domestic violence. Taking away choice is a common tactic abusive partners use to maintain power and control over survivors. Your support empowers parents to reclaim that choice by selecting meaningful gifts for their children with the gift cards provided through Sponsor a Family. Over 380 children in our community programs will be positively impacted, thanks to you.

Giving Thanks: A Special Thanksgiving Meal at Our Shelter

Accenture generously funded our Thanksgiving meal at the shelter this year, with additional groceries provided by individual donors. This special meal, lovingly prepared by Chef V, brought warmth and comfort to our clients, and we are so grateful for her dedication and care over the years.

Thanksgiving at the shelter is always a heartwarming event, where our shelter staff team comes together to serve clients and share in community. It's a testament to the compassion and commitment of our staff who work tirelessly to create a supportive and welcoming environment for survivors. We are thankful for their hard work, as well as the incredible efforts of all our staff across MSP.

We also extend a special thank you to Accenture for their generous annual $10,000 contribution to our Fresh Start Fund, which provides vital financial support to survivors for emergency expenses, education, and employment training opportunities. We are deeply grateful for their continued support and partnership!

Every story, including yours, whether as an advocate, ally, supporter or survivor, adds voice and strength to our collective experiences. Together, we break silences, reduce stigma, and continue healing. Your story can ignite hope.
