CRRL Board of Trustees Membership Update

Fredericksburg, Virginia, December 9, 2024 - Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s Board of Trustees' membership has been updated.

Dr. Pamela Yeung has joined the Board and represents Stafford County. Dr. Yeung started serving on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors representing the Garrisonville District in 2022. Dr. Yeung was elected by her fellow Board members as Vice Chairman for 2022 and Chairman for 2023. She serves on the following standing committees: By-laws; Legislative. Dr. Yeung acts as the Board’s appointee to: the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance and the Rappahannock Youth Services and Group Home Commission. She serves as an alternate on: the Fredericksburg Area Metropolitan Planning Organization; the George Washington Regional Commission; the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission; the R-Board; the Rappahannock River Basin Commission ; and the Virginia Railway Express.

Pamela Yeung is a science and technology consultant for a Fortune 500 company that embraces the power of change to create long-lasting value for clients, people, and communities. She represented the Garrisonville District as its elected member to the Stafford County School Board in Stafford County, Virginia. Pamela earned her baccalaureate degree in business and information technology from Howard University and a Master's Degree in science and technology from Johns Hopkins University. She earned her doctorate in leadership and organizational change from Baylor University.

Library Board of Trustees members are appointed by and represent their jurisdictions, donating their time as advocates for the public. Trustees work closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director to determine library policy, adopt budgets, and support library legislation on a state and national level. Trustees also promote the library's services, classes, and events in their interactions with the community.
