Tips and Tricks (for your student and you)

Each month, we’ll share a few tips that your student and you might appreciate.

Adelphi Votes is a non-partisan coalition of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about encouraging our community members to be part of the democratic process by voting. This year’s efforts included registration and voter education tables and resources. As a result of this year’s efforts, 63 Adelphi students are newly registered to vote!

  • Today, November 5, is Election Day. There are no classes. Make time to vote!
  • On November 13, your students can participate in a Post-Election Analysis.

🧠 Being a college student can be stressful. No matter what’s happening in life or in the world, our resources are always available to support our Panthers.

  • Interfaith Center: A welcoming space for individuals of any faith who seek spiritual support. Call 516.877.3113 or email auinterfaith@adelphi.edu.
  • Office of Community Concerns and Resolution: OCCR can help students navigate any nonemergency concerns by connecting them with the right resources and keeping them informed along the way.
  • Public Safety: Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for emergencies and to help our campus community members feel safe. The office is located in Levermore Hall 113 or students can call 516.877.3500.
