CLT Regional Scholars

Congratulations to Brady O'Connor and Callie Stage! We are excited to announce that they were named Regional Scholars for their performance on the CLT 10. Regional Scholar designation is given by the Classical Learning Test to those students who score in the top 5% of their geographic region.

"In some ways, it is hard to believe that we are already approaching one month since the initial impact and devastation of Hurricane Helene. Many folks in the region are still waiting for clean drinking water, tree and debris clean-up, and other forms of relief and comfort.

In other ways, it feels hard to believe that it has only been one month. More offices, schools, and systems are “going back to normal” and in these ways, the storm can feel like it was long ago as life and time continue to press onward..."

Warrior News

The Veritas Varsity Boys Soccer Team won the CSAA State Championship! Our boys beat NorthPoint Christian Academy 10-1, Asheboro Hybrid 10-1, and Liberty Prep 6-2. Charlie Brake, Caleb Randles, and Bobby LaMond were named to the All-State Team. Bobby LaMond was also named Player of the Tournament! Congratulations, team! Thank you to Mike Jennings for guiding our boys to a great season.

Our Girls Cross Country Team also brought home a CSAA State Championship! Merritt Leik finished number 1 overall with a time of 23:56. Also turning in top 10 finishes were 6th place Lydia Lewis (25:53), 7th place Lily Petty (26:09), and 8th place Sadie Moffitt (26:53). Great job ladies! 

The Varsity Volleyball finished in the runner up position. The Warriors beat Haywood Christian 3-0, and Lee Park Prep 3-0 to advance to the Championship. Veritas lost a tough 5 set match to Liberty Prep in the final match. Brooke Miller and Kaitlyn Miller were named to the All-State Team. Thank you to Donna Russell and Michelle McClain for coaching the girls this year. 

Our Middle School Boys Soccer Team also finished in the runner up position. The Warriors defeated Cornerstone Christian 8-0, before falling to Hope Christian Academy 1-0 in the championship. Thank you to Adam Guice and Dale Owen for coaching the boys this year.
