Chapter News
As my tenure as the president of the Treasure Valley Chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals comes to a close, I find myself reflecting deeply on the incredible journey we have shared together over the past year. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve such a dedicated and passionate group of professionals who are truly the backbone of our industry.
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, commitment, and enthusiasm. Without your active participation and invaluable contributions, our chapter would not have achieved the successes we have enjoyed. From organizing and attending insightful presentations to fostering meaningful networking opportunities, together, we have strengthened our
community and elevated the standard of excellence in our field.
Thanks to your support and donations over the past year we accomplished many things. We were able to donate school supplies to many schools throughout the Treasure Valley. We held a Golf Tournament, Christmas Auction, and Top Golf Event where we raised funds for several charities and delivered checks in the amount of $23,370 (which doesn’t include members direct donations) to charities including the Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline & City Light. We held a well-attended Community Health Insurance Awareness Day event in conjunction Live After Five in Downtown Boise. Our Chapter earned NABIP’s Prestigious Gold Status, The Robert W. Osler Professional Development Award (For outstanding achievement in promoting health insurance educational activities). We earned the Pacesetter Award. We also earned the Local
Website Award presented to Local Chapters with the most effective and easily used
websites!
I am especially grateful to the Board, all Committee Members, and our Executive Assistant--Sebrina Chevalier-Koehler, who have worked tirelessly alongside me. Your dedication and teamwork have been nothing short of inspiring, and it has been a pleasure collaborating with such talented individuals who share a common vision for our profession.
As I pass the baton to our incoming president Marcia Benton, I am confident that our chapter will continue to thrive and grow under her capable leadership. Let us extend our full support and cooperation to ensure a seamless transition and continued prosperity for the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals-Treasure Valley Chapter.
In parting, I leave you with a quote that has guided me throughout my term: "Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." – Helen Keller
All ships truly do rise with the tide!
Thank you once again for the privilege of serving as your president. It has been an honor that I will forever cherish. I look forward to seeing our chapter's continued success in the future.
Make it a great day!
Respectfully,
Knute M. Kleven
